Cathy's Business Manifesto
"Oh my god, I want her business!"
That's what one client told me after seeing a fellow 'fancy success' entrepreneur on Instagram.
You know the type — always at glamorous events, vacationing in exotic locations, and somehow working fewer hours than physics allows.
The shock?

lifestyle marketing be like...

writing copy at a Thai pool bar

between econ and buyer psychology classes

I <3 chocolate glazed fruit & high EBIT figures

let's work together
My client's work was nothing like this person's.
Instagram entrepreneur: selling funnels and one-to-very-many programs.
My client: delivering high-touch, personalized cohorts.
Later I realized...
My client didn't want that business model.
She wanted that lifestyle.
But before that AHA?
We pivoted to match the Instagram she-boss' approach.
It flopped.
My client still made $50K that quarter, but promoting these offers was painful.
She couldn't connect with them.
Her heart wasn't in it.
All because she wasn't buying a business solution.
She was buying a lifestyle fantasy.
This is one of 3 main problems plaguing our industry:
1. Founders getting sold on other people's business models instead of building what actually works for their life, their strengths, their audience.
2. Coaches delivering strategies built on someone else's resources, results and best practices instead of your actual business reality.
3. Contractors doing their best work on individual pieces of your business, then walking away - leaving you with pages & offers built like Frankenstein, held together with digital duct tape.
Here's how I approach things differently:
While individual contractors ask for your brand guidelines and competitor research, I ask for your EBIT and revenue breakdown.
I want to know:
Which of your offers actually makes money?
What are your real profit margins?
How much can you afford to spend to acquire a customer?
Because I've seen too many "successful" funnels that generated revenue but killed profitability.
While consultants give you strategy frameworks and disappear, I stick around to execute them.
I've watched brilliant 47-slide presentations gather dust in Google Drives because no team member had the time (or skill) to actually implement the strategy.
Beautiful roadmaps are worthless if you don't get to build the road.
So I start with the foundation.
Your actual revenue streams, profit margins, and business goals. A 'winning' business model only wins when it works for YOUR specific situation.
Then I identify the biggest levers for increasing your profit and conversions right now.
We discuss your offers, pricing, customer lifetime value and funnel economics.
Sometimes the fastest path to more profit isn't getting more customers - it's increasing what each customer is worth to you.
Then I map your entire customer journey.
I don't just audit one sales page in isolation - I trace the path from first touchpoint to final purchase.
How does your Instagram post connect to your lead magnet?
Does your email sequence actually set up your sales page? Are you asking for the sale at the right moment in their customer journey?
Finally comes execution.
Copy that actually moves people to action.
Because brilliant strategy means nothing if prospects get to your pitch and feel... nothing.
An approach built on years of:
☑️ Business plan writing (and 2 business degrees)
☑️ Work in finance and product design
☑️ Copywriting that led to 6-figure launches
☑️ Obsessing over session recordings & heatmaps like they're crime scenes
☑️ Reading hundreds of research papers about behavioral & cognitive science
The result?
🩶 Strategy grounded in business reality, executed with copy that converts, optimized based on real human psychology.
🩶 Lead gen and sales workflows optimized to fit your reality, lifestyle and business goals.
🩶 More profit and peace in your typical weekday
